The plain version: we keep only what Foreman needs to run your job, we store it in Australia, we never sell it, and you can delete it all whenever you like.

What we store
- Your account: your name and email address, from Sign in with Apple or an email sign-in code.
- Your projects: what you've told Foreman, your address, the job details, the plan and tasks, documents Foreman writes (like the job spec), your notes and your approvals.
- Tradies and quotes: businesses Foreman finds and checks on public registers, the emails sent with your OK, the replies you add and the quotes.
- Notifications: your notification settings and, on iPhone, the push token Apple gives us to send them.
- AI usage: a log of what each AI request cost, so we can show you the cost of Foreman's work.
The web app keeps your sign-in token in your browser's local storage. This website has no cookies, no analytics and no trackers.
Where it's kept
Your data is stored in Microsoft Azure in the Australia East region (Sydney). Emails to tradies are sent through Azure Communication Services, also set to keep data in Australia.
How the AI works with your data
- Foreman's planning and agents use AI models (Anthropic's Claude) through Microsoft Foundry. That processing happens in the United States.
- The AI gets your suburb and the property facts (like zoning or heritage), never your street address. Our servers remove the street address from every AI request before it leaves, and our tests check this.
- Your street address goes to NSW Government planning services only (the NSW Planning Portal and NSW Spatial Services), to look up your property.
- We don't sell your data or use it for ads.
Who sees what
Tradies and professionals only get your details when you OK it, in an email you've seen first. Your phone number and street address stay out of emails unless you choose to share them.
Deleting your data
- Delete account (in Me, on iPhone or the web) wipes everything at once: your account, projects, tradies, quotes, messages, notifications and devices.
- A deleted project can be restored for 30 days from Recently deleted, then it's wiped for good.
